I'm so excited and happy. The ladies at Gingersnap Creations have asked me to be one of their visiting artist for August - it is such an honour and totally unexpected - thank you!

Sharon and Ali, with their design team, have great themed challenges, each one last a month so plenty of time to create! There is also lots of inspiration, tutorials, techniques to help you on the way!

A hot summer with some love and sunshine :-))))

Today I have 3 projects for 3 different challenges. 

The first one is a tag for Gingersnaps challenge - Sunshine

GC 63 - Sunshine

This boy image and flower is two stamps I've bought used. I don't know the brand of these two stamps, so if anyone know I would love you to leave me a comments. The sandcaste,bucket and tag is from a set I got from Pat on last crop at Scrapshop, the brand of these stamps are The Stamp Bug.

I've colored the boy with LuminArte - Sky Blue.

Tag is made of craft and Cratepaper. Sentiment written by hand.

My second is a project for Gingesnaps challenge heat and sketch challenge at city crafter.

GC61 - Heat 

Citycrafter - 14 sketch

The 'heat' challenge was an easy challenge for me. I just couldn't find my mojo for this. But late last night while working on the card below I came up with the sentiment on this card and that got me started. I like the colorcombo on this card. The image are from a set I bought at Stampinground , I've used Tim Holtz Distress embossing powder - mustard seed. I've also used my Heidi Swapp alphabet that I got from Lauren , and if you visit her blog you might be lucky, cause she has a giveaway right now  ;-).

Paper from Bazzill, Patternpaper from 7gypsies, 2 vintage buttons and text with my Dymo.

My last one today is also for sketch challenge at city crafter.

Citycrafter - 14 sketch

On this card I've used leaf ribbons I bought at Voss papir, Esbjerg. The same image as above, but have colored the window with distress ink. Flowers from a flower candy I won.

Patternpaper are some leftovers from another project. The bling in the flower is also from Voss Papir.

yesterdays findings

Windows cleaned, spiders removed and yes we are now settled in to our home in Denmark, where we will spend the next 3 weeks.

Yesterday I took my bike and visit some of the local charity shops.

This is some of my findings:

When I'm down here I love going to fairs and markeds in the area to look for treasures. ( And what I think is treasures is not always what the others think is treasures) but I also need to have a check at the local charity shops to see if I can find anything to use on my projects. Yesterday I found many laces and buttons. But my favorite yesterday is old domino game with black thin dominoes. I also had my eyes on a little red typewrite, but I was not gonna carry it on my back when riding my bike.. Hopefully it will get it next time I'm in town. 

Today I'm a creater, not a shopper and tonight we are going to dine in a local and cosy fish restaurant...

tag and folding card

I'm busy getting ready for my holiday and thought I would share some projects
I've made earlier this year, but never published on my blog.


This was my first attempt on pocket/tag card that I've now made a few of.

 

Here is a tag I've made out of  a spellbinder die, a diecut from crate paper and different colours of distress ink.

x-mas gift box

Gingersnap Creations challenge Once in a Blue Moon Challenge this time is - CASE a Ginger.

When I saw the box over at Ginger Gem Scrappy Suzanne'blog, I just knew I had to make my own.

I'm in a 'x-mas in july' mood, so the fairy turned in to a snowman. I've used red acrylic paint on the box, after several other color attempts. ( We not gonna talk about that now )

The snowman is one of my first stamps I ever bought , but he's only been used a few times. He is from Rubber Stampede. I colored him with my Promakers. The sentiment stamp is a freebe from Craft Stamper Magazine. Leftover patternpaper from 7Gypsies, snowflakepunch from Martha Stewart.

Here is the box before painted, bought at a local charity shop for approx $1

xmas in july

Jul i juli er ingen dum ting. Jeg har faktisk tenkt å lage flere julekort iløpet av sommerferien. Litt mindre å velge mellom når jeg skal pakke scrappesakene med meg.

Digistempel fra Dottie's world, charming xmas er fargelat med Promakers og stickles glitter lim.

Tekststempel er fra Kreativ Hobby og lanterne stempelet er fra Inkadinkado. Den flotte røde blonden har jeg fått av Lauren og den lille blonden på toppen har jeg fått av min mor ( Ja hun er snill og samler knapper og blonder som jeg kan bruke på kreasjonene mine :-) )

De røde stenene er fra turen vi hadde til Helsinki i fjor høst og de blanke steinene har jeg kjøpt hos Joanna Sheene

Cute card thursday - get a head start

Da ble det et vintagekort til skisseutfordringen hos Vintagerutfordring.

Lenge siden jeg har laget et kort med vintagelook, så det var kjekt å prøve meg på det. I og med at det er et fødselsdagskort til både en mann og en jente, valgte jeg vekk blomster og tok på litt bling for å kunne følge skissen.

Jeg har brukt bazzill kartong og mønsterpapir fra TPC. Stempeltrykket har jeg fått av KortKari og jeg tror det er fra Kort og Godt. Tekst er skrevet med dymomaskinen. Blonde tror jeg også er fra Kort og Godt, knapp er fra knappeesken min. Alle panelene er distresset med MM edge distresser og deretter har jeg sydd rundt med symaskin.

På innsiden har jeg stempeltrykk fra Norsk stempelblad.

Her er to kort som jeg fikk med i juni utgaven av bladet Et trykk 

Størrelse: 16 x 16

Papir: 1 Prima mønsterpapir 30x30 som er brettet slik at det danner 3 lommer til tags.

         Tags i kartong er fra en blokk med tags fra Inspiration

Bilder : Alle bildene jeg har brukt, har jeg hentet ut fra downloads på hjemmesiden til Sauen Shaun http://www.shaunthesheep.com/ disse er printet ut på glossy papir og klippet ut.

Diverse : Tags er pyntet med rester av blonde og bånd.

              En Tim Holtz binders, rosa blomst fra Nille, bling fra Panduro , tekst fra Prima

Teksten på fremsiden av kortet er punchet ut på lilla bazzill med 
Provo Craft Hippie Chick alfabet.
Jeg har ikke brukt stempel eller blekk på dette kortet.

Kortet er laget til Nora som fyller 3 og som er stor fan av sauen Shaun.

Jeg hadde lyst å lage noe som hun kunne se på også etter fødselsdagen, derfor alle tags.

Bak den lyse tag er det plass til å skrive en personlig hilsen.

Det lekre mønsterpapiret jeg har brukt er fra Websters Page og MM. Jeg har brukt beige bazzill kartong.

Teksten er fra en av de nye platene til Norsk Stempelblad . Navn og dato er stemplet med MM alfabeter.
