New beginnings

This weekend I attended one of my favourite crop in Norway - Papirfesten. This time I had a short demo for Scrappegarasjen on how to use Brusho. (I know there where some picture taken, so maybe I will get my hand on them and put them in here later).  Rest of the day I played in my art journal. I wanted to make a page for the Mixed media place challenge Beginnings and this is what I made. I'm so in to creating collages these days and love trying out new techniques and search for great inspiration. Here I wanted to play with different colours than I'm used to.

And while I was inspired by the challenge I had to make another page, this time I made it in my Kate Crane book from the Wanderlust2016 class. Wishing you all a good Sunday and please look out for each other, you never know when you are needed. Spread your love.

This is what I really want - Art Journal

Today I want to share a double art journal page made from the inspiration from the new prompt at Wanderlust (one year online mixed-media class) - What do you really want... and the challenge #38 at 13art: Shine. I've used some red glitter on the boys heart and a little red sped down right on the page. I've also added some shiny red Glitter Glam on the red cardboard heart on the left page.
Thank you for looking.

Quality time!!!

I was so inspired by the challenge at Kraft + this month I just had to make a page.

I love to experiment with calligraphy and handwriting so here is my take on the challenge.

I've made a page where I've used paper from my Gelliprint stack and this one was perfect for the pictures of my son and our dog. He was going back to University in the UK so they needed some quality time together before he left. I've used white Ecoline paint and a calligraphy pen made out of a can. Here is a link to a tutorial on how to make it and use it. I've also written some sentence with my handwriting and ordinary white pen. Thank you for looking.

Wanderlust 2016 - Wanderlust book

In november I signed up for an year long online workshop called Wanderlust, hosted by the very creative Kasia and her Jamie, you can find some more information about the workshop here.
The activities started January first. As a creative boost I'm also doing an Art Journal: Wanderlust book, inspired by Wanderlust book videos made by Kasia.
This is my first spread in my Wanderlust book. Following the prompt we where giving, I used the word Grow, a word there is over 50 synonyms and some of the most important for me right now is develop, stretch, expand, branch out, burst forth and spring up.

The page in progress
