Today I want to share a fun project made for Crew member Wednesday this month. My fantastic friend Lauren gave me this great variety pack with sticker sheets to play with for my birthday and finally I've took them out and had a go. This picture was taken in 2014 when visiting Muir woods  outside San Fransisco. I made the spread in an Art journal where I only create AJ pages with photos included. The page is made at the cottage, where I have limited amount of art supply and that is a big help to get the creative juice going.

Gelli Arts® Gel Printed acrylic shapes

Hi

Today I want to share a short inspiration video with you. I got some acrylic shapes the other day from a friend who thought I could do something fun with them and for me any white or clean surface could do with some color, print and patterns! 

First I prepared all the acrylic shapes with clear gesso and let it dry. That way the paint will not peel off that easy. I’m using the 4” 4” round Gelli® Printing Plate for this project, but you could use any size and shapes Gelli® Printing Plate. To add color I’m using GelliArts® Premium Acrylic Paint in various colors + Gold acrylic paint and for patterns in the print I’m using Gelli Arts® mini printing tool and punchinella. When I was happy with the backgrounds on the acrylic shapes I stamped various designs on them with black ink and red paint. All the stamps are designed by Birgit Koopsen for Carabelle Studio. Finally added the metal and magnet and this is how it turned out.

Nailed it - art journal page

Idag har jeg lyst å dele en video jeg tok når jeg laget en art journal side med masse Paper Artsy produkter som jeg kjøpte på Kort Gleder på Klepp. Første gang jeg prøvde Fresco Paint var i 2011 på et kurs som jeg tok hos PaperArtsy. Jeg liker den matte finish denne malingen har, litt som kalk. Infusion pigment pulveret blandet med vann gir også denne finishen. Noe du vil se på denne videoen.

Today I want to share a video of an art journal page I made using lots of great products from PaperArtsy, bought at my local papercraft store Kortgleder. I am so happy I finally can go to a shop near me and buy these products. First time I tried Fresco Paint was in 2011 in the UK, but have not been able to buy it here local before now.
