X-mas with an arch

I've made two x-mas cards for GC75-random redhead challenge-arches . The DT at GC have made the most beautiful creations with arches and I found the link to the arch template after taking a closer look at Stephanie Severin gorgeous halloween card.

I've used patternpaper from Melissa Frances.
The images are from Stampotique and Paper Artsy. I've stamped the girl from Stampotique on grungepaper and used Distress Ink and perfect pearl gold on her. The sentiment is from Kreativ Hobby. The x-mas three is embossed with green metallic embossing powder on grungepaper covered with Distress Ink.

I've got all the snowflakes from Eva at the Papirfest, she had made a border with her snowflakes border punch, and well... I could not see her throw them away :-))))
I,ve used some bling in the middle of the snowflakes and Platinum Stickles around the corner.
Wishing everybody a great Halloween weekend.

Quilted x-mas card

The idea with this card was to play with Distress Ink. I found the quilted patterned canvas from Provo Craft at Andersen Familieskatter and just had to try it out. Lucky for me, my favorite challenge place Gingersnap Challenges once in a blue moon challenge this month is gcsp5 -quilt . I've used different shades of blue and purple on the canvas. The image from Magnolia is colored with Distress Ink as well and have got some Stickles . The x-mas three from Penny Black i found at Stamping Sister, they sell used stamp for a good value. THe sentiment stamp is from Kreativ Hobby. The lace ribbon I'm actually not sure where I bought, but I know I bought it last year.

And so what have happened with my kitchen, well. It's not finished, but we have got WATER, so no more running downstair for the dishes. So here is a picture of the sink with some water drops in it :-)))))
And if you wonder what the little thing on the left is.. It's the cooker. No more kettle in this house..

a few x.mas cards

2 cards made of paperbags, image is a free digi I found last year.

These two cards made at Papirfest with http://conniesplayroom.blogspot.com/ . We learned how to create the background and use how to emboss metall tape. 24/12 from Kort og Godt. tag from Tim Holtz

This last one is another x-mas card made of a paperbag. Image from Stampotique.  24/12 from Kort og Godt. Tag from Tim Holtz. Love the patternpaper, but I forgot to write the name down, usually I remember to do this, but started on the card, late night at the Papirfest. The ribbon is organza colored with Glimmermist.

I know a few if these cards fits for a few challenges, but today I'm not in a challenge mood ;-)

Wishing you a wonderful sunday.

Kortet er laget til følgende utfordringer :

Fredag kommer endelig det nye kjøkkenet vårt og da er det slutt på dette tomme synet.

Autumn and fantastic candy..

My card today is a Halloween card with an autumn touch to it.
I've made the background with Tim Holtz folder, distress Ink in different colours. The Owls and sentiment are from a new favorite of mine Unity Stamp. This one I bought on the internet, but my first meeting with Unity Stamp was when I won a package with Unity stamps at the Papirfest. They where kind and sponsored lots of prizes at this big crop.
The cat is from my buyings in Edinburgh last autumn.
The branch is from a Sizzix dies. I covered it with black stickles.

And now, I want to show you the best today.
Look what I got from Oxana at  Lisa-alisasobbyhimmelen
I've been following Oxanas blog for a while and I'm a big admire of her work. Resently I found out she doesn't live very far from me and we are now going to Paris togheter for PACS. But before all this I was lucky to win her blog candy, yes can you imagine. And I won two wonderful pieces of pure Art. I collected them at her house a week ago and love them both at first sight.
The first one is a mix-media canvas full of beautiful colors and textures.

The second gift is this beautiful angel doll, and I have to tell you. She is beautiful in real life as well as on the picture. They are now both pieces of art in my home and I'm a proud owner...Thankyou Oxana, I will treasure them for a long long time.
Hugs
