Minialbum from Amsterdam

I know it has been a while since I've been playing at the GingersnapCreations challenges and I'm so glad  I was able to play today, because I love Gingersnap Creations challenges and also all the great tutorials and inspirations. Today I'm playing with the GC107-random redhead challenge-bags and tag

A few weeks back I was on a girl trip to Amsterdam and I must say, it is one of the most beautiful city I've ever visited. All those beautiful houses, canals, bridges, boats, people...... I could go on. I've made a mini travel album with paperbags and altered tags.

The reason for the boarding pass and departure time is on the front is a looooong story and to make it short. We where at the airport 09.10 and thought the plane should leave at 10.45... well they had change the time, without telling us... Luckily Sola Airport is a small airport, so we made it with good help from the people at the airport.

To cover all the pages I used the citymap that we used on the trip, so it was rather worn, but I thought it looked even better this way. I have not used any pattern paper, just map, paper and objects collected from the trip. The lock is from a dress I bought and a Tim Holtz 'handle'.

The middle is stitched with a sewing machine

I used three bags, in to of the pockets I have tags for pictures and in the third pocket I have cards from shops and restaurants I want to remember until next time. The inspiration for this album I got from Jonna when she made this tutorial for the Scrapshop blog

Update : I'm also entering this travelling album to a newly spotted challenge called Sandy challenge #4 and the theme is Travel.

Wishing everybody a fantastic weekend. I will be creating all weekend...

  6. Kjempekult album! Kjekt å være til inspirasjon. Og en glimrende idè å bruke papirposer - den idèen stjeler jeg nok.... :-)
