Once Upon a sketch has a challenge this week and it says :

Our JOURNALLING CRITERIA this time is to journal about a female. It can be ANYONE...your self, your best friend, your daughter,grandma, mum, sister, cat. ...As long as you write at least 2 sentences about the female in the photo (you can always create a CARD or ALTERED item based on this sketch and use a quote instead) . Your jounralling can be any type, i.e. typed, printed etc. 

This is the sketch to follow.

My journal is about my mother and her connection with my brother's children. 

I've used patternpaper from Websters Page and varous chipboard from Scrap Matrix. They've been treated with crackle paint, glossy accent, acrylic paint.The flowers are from Scarpshop.

The pattern paper is covered some parts with dabber paint, ModgePodge and cheece-cloth to create some texture. Letters are from Thickers, stitches with sewing machine. The journaling is written with my Dymo that I won at the Egersund crop. :-)
